Faculty of Art and Design, Trisakti University held a TKMDII Webinar with the title “Disability Awareness On Interior Design: Make Them Feel Comfort Like We Do” which was held online on Saturday, November 20, 2021, 09.00 – 11.30 WIB. The event was attended by the Dean, Deputy Dean III, Head of the Interior Design Study Program, lecturers and students from FSRD Trisakti University and students from various universities who participated in TKMDII activities. In addition, at this event, representatives of the Santi Rama Foundation were also present.

The event started with singing the national anthem Indonesia Raya and continued with remarks from the Chief Executive Johannes Maranata and continued with remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Trisakti University, Dr. Sangayu Ketut Laksemi Nilotama, M.Ds. In her remarks, the Dean of FSRD Usakti said this event was very important as a briefing for interior design candidates where the field of design science does not only focus on designing something aesthetic and functional, but can also be used by everyone, especially for people with disabilities (Disability).

The event continued with the symbolic handover of the portable sink by the Dean of the Usakti FSRD to the Santi Rama Foundation. Next was the introduction of the speakers, moderated by Resky Annisa Damayanti, S. DS, M. DS. Present as a speaker, namely Irma Rosalia Handayani, ST as Founder, Owner, CEO of NR Group Indonesia Principal Architect who brought Disability Awareness on Interior Design: Make Them Feel Comfort Like We Do. The event continued with a question and answer session, and giving Door prizes to the best questioners, and ended with documentation and closing. Hopefully this event can add insight into the things that need to be considered in the interior design of a space to support the needs of users with special needs.
