Faculty of Art and Design

Universitas Trisakti has a Faculty of Art and Design which was established in 1985 with 4 (four) complete study programs, namely Interior Design, Product Design, Visual Communication Design and Photography. In its long journey, based on the decision of BAN-PT in 2012, all four of them received an “A” accreditation score.

In 2006, the first Master of Design Program for Private Universities was officially operated with an “B” accreditation score.

The Interior Design, Visual Communication Design, Product Design and Photography Study Program is a study program that produces graduates in the field of design who are professional and not only able to create design works, but also must be able to communicate ideas/opinions/thoughts through visual language through their work.

Design students under the Faculty of Art and Design, Universitas Trisakti study theory and practice art and design skills in order to have a solid foundation in their work. Students are also trained to stimulate creativity, have aesthetic sensitivity and be able to appreciate design works. Brilliant ideas can be lost, if not realized into works. Beautiful work will not be realized without the support of resources. However, if management skills are possessed, then these skills can improve the quality of facilities/infrastructure for the development of creativity and the emergence of further works. Faculty of Art and Design Universitas Trisakti students are trained in this matter, so they have the ability to run a design business and entrepreneurship.
