On Wednesday, May 15, 2024 the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design held a meeting of Medcom and KIP-K OSC Scholarship recipients and their lecturers.

Online Scholarship Competition (OSC) is the first Online Scholarship Competition in Indonesia held since 2015 by Surya Edukasi Bangsa Foundation and Medcom.id news and video site. OSC is here to make it easier for Indonesian children to continue their education to the undergraduate level with scholarships to favorite universities in Indonesia.

As an effort to increase benefits and services in the form of guaranteed education costs and living expenses, in 2021 the Ministry of Education and Culture launched KIP Kuliah which is a transformation of the previous KIP-Kuliah and Bidikmisi. KIP-Kuliah aims to increase the economic potential and social mobility for students from poor/vulnerable families to attend college.

The meeting aims to increase the enthusiasm of students to continue to participate in activities outside of academics, such as participating in workshops, exhibitions, Community Service (PKM), national and international residence competitions.

The activity was also attended by 14 scholarship recipient students who had graduated with good grades and did not forget to encourage other scholarship recipient students.
