The Faculty of Arts and Design, Trisakti University, carries out Tri Dharma College activities such as teaching and research, as a lecturer has the duty to carry out community service (PKM). On Saturday, March 11, 2023, the Usakti FSRD lecturer team with the chairman Dr. Menul Teguh Riyanti, S.Sn., M.Pd carried out Community Service, Students together with partners from Youth Organization in the Cikoko Timur RW. 02 area. Other lecturers who are members of the team are Susy Irma Adisurya, S.Sn., M.Ds Ariani, S.Sn., M.Ds., Virginia Suryani Setiadi, S.Sn., M.Ds., and RA. Heryani Wahyuningrum, S.Sn., M.Sn., besides the lecturers, students participated as instructors and documentation team during the training, namely Danisa Dwi Syahputri, Agnes Monica, Nafisa Kamila Smith.

This PKM has the theme “CHARACTER MAKE UP TRAINING FOR CIKOKO TIMUR YOUTH RW 02, PANCORAN JAKARTA SELATAN”. In the Character Make Up training using affordable equipment, the goal is that the Youth Organization of this event at the Independence Day event or any drama for example can do their own makeup. First explain the equipment used in the basic make up needed is as follows. First, the concept of a bruised face used is foundation / foundation, compact powder, makeup color for eyes and nose, artificial blood then face glue (latex), cotton, tissue, but different for the concept of carnival characters added with face painting in order to make makeup look perfect according to the desired concept.

This training was responded well by the youth group and they were very enthusiastic and wanted to practice and apply makeup according to the concept they wanted. In this training, the youth tried to apply their own makeup. All participants and instructors were happy with the results obtained today. At the end of the event, Dr. Menul Teguh Riyanti, S.Sn., M.Pd. as the chief lecturer instructor, gave the equipment to apply character makeup to the youth representatives. Hopefully, the character makeup training can be spread to other youths to improve the artistic ability and creativity of youth organizations in the art of makeup.
